Access Levels

Giving users access to the right images is key. But you need the flexibility to control what they can see. OpenAsset allows you to control who has access to images with the access levels feature.

Images can be assigned to one of three access levels. The meaning of an access level is entirely decided by you, here's an example of a typical access level setting:

  • External Use

The image is a high qualilty marketing image which can be used externally by your team. You own the copyright.

  • Internal Use

The image can be referenced internally but is not for use in external marketing documents.

  • Unapproved

Only the marketing / graphics team can view and download the image. There may be copyright policies which apply.

  • OpenAsset was the solution that did everything we wanted. We could store images and digital files in simple categories of our choosing, we could search the entire system if necessary to find an image and, crucially, we could drop images into presentations with ease.
