The collection of images into 'Albums' is one of the most inspired features. Individual staff or project teams create myriad thematic collections without causing server problems.

Create Albums

See how to share albums with your colleagues in our sharing albums demo.

One of the most powerful features in OpenAsset is the ability for users to create albums of their favourite images. Instead of going to find the last document they created or looking at images on their c:drive users go to their own set of 'Albums'.

OpenAsset albums are easily created, whilst searching the library just click on an image to add it into your 'live' album.

Albums are just links to the shared image library, so there is no limit to the number of images in an album or the number of albums that can be created. Each user has their own personal list of 'Albums' so they can keep multiple lists of their favorite images.

Shared Albums

Users can easily share Albums amongst themselves or in groups. For example, a brochure group may share images in Albums whilst putting together the company brochure. Improved collaboration with shared Albums increases the quality of your marketing materials and stops large image files clogging up the network.

Marketing teams can create 'Company Albums' for everyone in the practice to see. These appear on the home page of all users, an excellent way to share and distribute the most recent or best collections of images in OpenAsset

A list of shared albums shows who is sharing albums with you, and whether you can modify the album. You can also make your own copy of an album someone is sharing with you.

Once the album has been created we come to one of the most powerful features in OpenAsset: creating documents.
