Intuitive Searching

OpenAsset lets you find and use your images easily. It is impossible to find images from a large collection without the help of metadata, or keywords. Batch keywording of files means you can create excellent search catalogues with the minimum of effort.

Once your company's images have been loaded and catalogued in OpenAsset, you can search by simple keywords in a number of predefined categories. A click of the mouse, and all the images that match the search criteria are retrieved and displayed as thumbnails.

If your company works on a project basis you may create a project category for searching. Project names and codes can be automatically entered into OpenAsset from an external projects database. Type any letter or number into the search box and OpenAsset will present you with a list of options to choose from.

By using the keyword field you can quickly search for keywords, copyright, photographer and other information. When there is no project selected the images returned will be from all projects, for example making it very easy to find all of your 'Facade' pictures.

Advanced Search

This describes the basic search features of OpenAsset. Advanced search in OpenAsset allows you to search for particular keywords such as 'Atrium'. Simply click 'Advanced Search' and select from the list of keywords. If you then want to combine this with another keyword such as 'Glass' all images which have been tagged with these keywords will be returned.

Other options can be customized and searched such as photographer, date or copyright. The intuitive search features in OpenAsset will save your employees time and improve productivity.
