Axomic win another 4 clients for OpenAsset
18th February 2005
Axomic, the UK's fastest growing provider of digital asset management solutions for architects, has enjoyed a record month of sales with four new customers investing in its flagship OpenAsset software. The latest practices to embrace Axomic's digital asset management technology are John Thompson & Partners, Baily Garner, Scott Brownrigg and Devereux Architects.
OpenAsset is designed to solve the digital asset management issues faced by architectural practices. The solution assumes responsibility for managing libraries of images and other digital assets associated with architectural projects. Images are searched for via a standard web browser interface and can be collected for output and converted to the appropriate formats and resolutions for use in various applications.
John Thompson & Partners has over 50 staff and two offices located in London and Edinburgh. The company has invested in OpenAsset to address the issues associated with managing digital assets across two locations. "The problem of storage duplication was creating a massive burden on our IT infrastructure," say Janet Lewis, practice manager at John Thompson & Partners. "OpenAsset will streamline the whole process and ensures that we manage digital project information as efficiently as possible."
The benefits of effective digital asset management are far reaching. Everyone from the principal architects to the marketing team, the graphics team and the IT manager experience improved workflow and a boost in productivity through the reduction of time spent searching for and re-formatting images.
"Axomic has experienced record sales over recent months and these latest successes reinforce our belief that there is a genuine need for digital asset management within architectural practices and that the approach we've taken is the right one," comments Daniel Emmerson, co-founder and business development director of Axomic. "Our customers now have an intuitive tool to help support their work and that's what this is all about: making their lives easier."
