Axomic announce record sales results

1st February 2006

Axomic, the UK's largest provider of digital asset management solutions for the AEC sector, has enjoyed a record year of sales with 24 new customers investing in its flagship OpenAsset software. This includes a wide range of prestigious and prominent companies such as Allies & Morrison, David Chipperfield Architects, Jestico & Whiles, AHMM and John McAslan & Partners among others.

OpenAsset is designed to solve the digital asset management issues faced by architectural practices. The solution assumes responsibility for managing libraries of images and other digital assets. Images are searched for via a standard web browser interface and can be collected for output and converted to the appropriate formats and resolutions for use in various applications.

The benefits of effective digital asset management are far reaching. Everyone from the principal architects, engineers, and project managers, to the marketing team, the graphics team and the IT manager experience improved workflow and a boost in productivity through the reduction of time spent searching for and re-formatting images.

"Axomic has experienced record sales over the past year and these successes reinforce our belief that there is a genuine need for digital asset management within the AEC sector," comments Daniel Emmerson, co-founder and business development director of Axomic. "Our customers now have an intuitive tool to help support their work and that's what this is all about: making their lives easier."
