OpenAsset user group meeting 2006

Axomic hold the second user group meeting of OpenAsset . The purpose of the meeting was to give the user group network a forum for learning how to use OpenAsset. Clients were also able discuss and contribute ideas on how to improve the software for future versions.

Having experienced record sales in 2006 the event was well suppoted with around 150 attendees from architectural and engineering practices. The event started with a presentation from Axomic on how to improve use of OpenAsset. Axomic stay in close contact with many clients to enable the knowledge and experience they have gained using OpenAsset to be shared with everyone in the user community.

The presentation was well supported by contributions from users. Particular thanks go to AHMM, Scott Brownrigg, and John Thompson & Partners who gave excellent insights into how they use the software.

Axomic's team then gave a presentation on recent developments of the software, including major upgrades to the uploading system and how to use OpenAsset to manage site photos. The group then discussed ideas on what new features they would like to see developed in future versions of the software.

The event was a great success with many clients reporting that they had learnt a great deal on how improve using the software. The user community is developing into an excellent network with attendees beginning to forge contacts in other practices to share ideas on image management. The team at Axomic are delighted to see such progress, and are looking forward to sharing a beer with everyone at the next event in 2007!
